Children Ministries

Our goal as a children’s department is to offer many positive ongoing ministries, ministry events and ministry opportunities for children of all ages. We believe that is our responsibility to portray a positive reflection of Christ in all of our encounters with children. Through our example, it is our prayer that they, in turn, will desire a relationship with Him. We also believe that children are not only the “church of the future”, but rather an integral part of the present church body. Children, as growing disciples of Christ, can actively minister to each other and our community.

Children count at Chapman Memorial. It is our desire to provide a strong, spiritual base upon which every child can build and grow. To assist, we provide:

Nursery

A fully equipped nursery is available for all Sunday and Wednesday services.

Sunday School

We have excellent teachers and workers who bring a Christ-centered message from the Bible and apply it to the daily lives of each child.

Children's Church

No baby sitting here! During this time, children are offered an opportunity to worship God in an environment and atmosphere they can find comfortable. Available during the Second Sunday Morning Worship (10:45AM).

Kids Bible Club

A Wednesday night program composed of Bible stories, scripture memorization, music, object lessons and other fun-filled activities.

Summer Activities

Vacation Bible School, Boys and Girls Camps round out a very balanced learning experience
for our children.
